This is a perfectly normally conversation at our house.
I heard really weird noises from the living room. Knowing that The Kid is the only one in there, I yell from the bedroom, “What are you doing?”
He answers: “Trying to make a duck noise.”
Me: “Okay.”
Because how else would you answer that, you know?
