Making progress on this bad boy is a lot easier than I thought it would be. I’m just hoping it doesn’t end up like all of my work to-do lists that wind up being long forgotten about midway through the day. I’m still looking at Wednesday’s to-do list right now, as a matter of fact.
I gave the list it’s own page. Now, that’s commitment. And here’s what I’ve got going on so far:
8. Record every thing I spend for an entire week down to the penny. I downloaded the Mint.com app for my iPod. Hey, it’s little steps, right?
15. Make a list of 12 local restaurants I want to visit and make plans to try each of them. Grabbed lunch at the Chef Shack the first day it was in downtown Minneapolis. Holy cow, it was good. Six bucks for a couple of pulled pork tacos? Yes, please. (1/12)
28. Get a 15 game win streak on ESPN Streak for the Cash. I’m up to four. This one may be the hardest one for me to actually achieve. Good thing I’m committed to obsessing over it for the next nearly 1001 days.
82. Pare down Google Reader to something manageable to read once a day. I think I might have actually taken care of this. I’m giving it another week or two before calling it said and done. There were multiple times this weekend when I didn’t have anything at all on there to read. That’s probably a good thing.
I’m good with this start! This whole thing has proven to be somewhat fun, too, instead of chore-like, which is what I was worried about.
