vacations plans

Aside from the traditional holiday traveling, The General and I haven’t really had a vacation since Summerfest last year when we went to Milwaukee. We’ve had a trip to Missouri between then and now, but that’s about it. So you know how we’re starting off this year’s vacation-type activities? With a trip to Milwaukee. At the end of February. Probably not the best time for a trip to one of Minnesota’s neighboring states, but it will not doubt end up ridiculously awesome.

There are six of us going. We all used the Priceline Negotiator (totally downloaded that app) and wound up staying at the same hotel in downtown Milwaukee. We’ll probably do something along the same lines of that come time for our Minor League Baseball Road Trip this summer.

It’s my goal sometime, though, to travel to a warm destination with this same group of people (and possibly more) and take advantage of some kind of vacation rentals of some nature, maybe a nice cottage or a condo or just something with a hot tub we can put dish soap in. (Totally did that when I was in 7th grade, by the way, at a condo my then-BFF’s family and I were staying in at the Lake of the Ozarks.) While most of our traveling plans don’t make a vacation rental all that feasible, I seriously think we need to make it happen.

Speaking of vacations, you should probably Watch & Review This Funny Vacation Rental Video. There’s a superhero called Unitard (why, yes, he is wearing all spandin this commercial. And it ends with a sunset in the background in what seems to be some type of a tropical setting. You can’t go wrong with that.
