I’m not really the one that pays attention to the chemical and processing agents that we find in the food in our pantry. That’s kind of The General’s cup of tea. I just know I buy what I like and rarely get past the label’s nutritional agreements. I suppose the words listed in the ingredients that have more letters than the alphabet tend to make for boring reading. For me, it’s just food I’m going to shove in my mouth so I can function the next day. And then I ran across Intentional Chocolate, which has this quot at the top of it’s site:
“Whoever consumes this chocolate will manifest optimal health and functioning at physical, emotional and mental levels and in particular will enjoy an increased sense of energy, vigor and well-being for the benefit of all beings.”
– Jim Walsh, Founder IC
Knowing that there’s something like organic dark chocolate available kind of sheds a whole new light on the organic scene. Now, I’m not giving up my Velveeta Shells and Cheese just yet, but it’s not saying I couldn’t be convinced.
Besides, what doesn’t say delicious like enjoying a truffle on the beach with a naked man? (Photo from their website.)
