where the hell’s my summer gone
Tomorrow is Camping Trip #2 of the summer. In Camping Trip #1, The General and I had been together all of three weeks. I’m not entirely sure why it became such an urgency for us to go camping together that early, but we did and it was super awesome. So, we figured we’d close the summer out in style with another camping trip with the two of us, the two dogs, and well, all of my closest and most awesome friends.
This summer has been ridiculously busy – full of working, getting used to living with someone again, adjusting to having an 11 year old half the time, and, you know, some other stuff that I’ve been busy with. I’ve taken a ton of pictures, did a ton of pretty awesome things, but have completely forgotten to document my daily awesome life over here. I’m going to make it a goal to try to do that more, but I make a lot of goals that I never seem to even come remotely close to achieving.
But not really before I spend the next few days in Wisconsin, my project with the RNC comes to a conclusion, school starts for The Kid™, and all that good stuff…
