$25 just for you!

Remember when PayPal first started up, and you got $10 just for signing up? And you know how at this point, you can buy a freakin’ Dell computer or even by Northwest plane tickets with your PayPal account?

RevolutionMoneyExchange.com is doing the same thing now. For whatever reason, they’re gonna give PayPal some competition. And to sweeten the deal for all us internet nerds that sign up with them $25. Swear to God. It’s sitting in my checking account right now. You just have to sign up before May 15.

And then when you sign up, I get $10, too. See how that’s win-win?

You should sign up. It’s free and legit money, which is kinda hard to argue!

Hmm, I was all about this until they asked for my SSN. Why do they want that?

Good question! I looked it up in the FAQs and it had this to say:

” Q. Why do I have to provide my Social Security Number?

A. We ask for your Social Security Number as a security measure to protect your financial information. Your Social Security Number is used to confirm your identity by cross-referencing it against the other personal data you provide. This helps us avoid someone setting up an account in your name.

In addition, to help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask for other identifying documents. “
