the best thing you’ll ever do

Melissa just posted why she’s doing The 3 Day. Our team is currently ranked #4 in the Twin Cities right now.

Our goal is to have 15 people join our team – either by walking or by being part of the crew. As a team, we currently have our fundraising goal set at $30,000. That’s enough to buy a nice car. And our fundraising (i.e. our holiday cookie sale) is just getting underway.
I like how Jenni describes our team and why we do what we do:

team boobylicious is back for the third time in 2007! we have both 3-day veterans and brand new teammates this year. we have walkers and crew members. and we are ALL committed to another great year, and another 60 miles!

we love that the 3-day can be such a lighthearted, upbeat event that deals with such a serious issue. team boobylicious is all about having fun while raising money and awareness. we want to help find a cure for breast cancer, so we never have to see our friends and relatives suffer again.

please join us on our journey!

No matter where you live or whether or not you know someone that’s been effected by breast cancer, The 3 Day is something you should consider doing. Whether you walk or you crew, your efforts will not go unnoticed and it will truly be one of the best things in your life you could possibly do,

  1. Thank you for linking to my post. Some days, I don’t even think about my mother’s diagnosis and what it could mean to my future health. Other days, it kind of gets to me.

What's up?
