know when to fold ‘em AI style

I hate country night. It’s nothing against country music. Well, maybe it is. I think it’s mainly due to the song choice on nights like these. The songs are boring and because the majority of the contestants don’t know the songs, it’s harder for them to actually make it “their own”.

kennyr.jpgThankfully, there are only nine contestants left and then there’s Kenny Rogers minus us awesome mullet from back in the “Islands in the Stream” days. What they really need is a Dolly Parton night on this show. That would liven things up a little bit. Or at least it would be right in time for the DVD release of 9 to 5, which would go quite well with the way they’vebeen picking the rest of their celebrity helpers or whatever they’re calling them this year since they’re not even judging.

Also, Ryan needs to shave. His metro/homosexual credibility is falling down the drain looking as scruffy as he is. If they’re not careful, the show might lose half of their gay male between the ages of 16-35 viewers.

Even with my brief, but enjoyable, experience with it, I could mop the floor with Kevin Federline in DDR anyday.

And really, on a scale from 1-10, I’m about a 3. That tells you how good K-Fed, a former backup dancer, must be!

remember when he used to say ‘watch the hair’?

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – Following a successful guest stint this season,
John Stamos is set to join the cast of NBC’s “ER” as a regular in the fall.

YES! Uncle Jesse has a job!

I wish they would have a Full House reunion. Or even a Full House: The College Years. That kind of worked for Saved by the Bell, didn’t it? No? Not really?

hardcore ballin’

I’m wicked hardcore at the gym. I say that now, especially since I’ve been 7 out of the last 8 days, but I really feel like I need to go all the time. Which is good!

Cardio:

29 minutes on regular bike – 6.42 miles/13.28 mph
10 minutes of hardcore b-ballin’
1.5 miles in 30 min with dog (after w/o)

Weights:

Curls
30lbs – 10x; 40lbs – 10x, 10x; 45lbs – 8x, 8x

Bench Press
65lbs – 10x, 8x, 8x; 75lbs – 6x

My right shoulder was bothering me a bit yesterday morning, but it had loosened up as the day went on, which meant it was a-okay for the gym. But my gym buddy still wants to take it easy. And I’m okay with that.

Tonight, it’s track work. This means I have to run. Not jog. Run. I might die tonight.

However, the basketball after my workout yesterday? TOTALLY WORTH IT. I hadn’t shot around forever, and it was actually a lot of fun.

Funny that I can shoot better left-handed now than I could when I was in high school and being forced to do left handed layups during practice over and over again.

I’m going to keep going to the gym, doing my weights, and playing ball afterwards. Then, I can try out for the Minnesota Lynx! Or maybe the Minnesota Vixen. Or maybe I’ll just continue my fantasy sports and leave the professional stuff to the, well, professionals.
