post-birthday excitement

Two minutes after I dropped $228 at Wal-Mart this afternoon, my bank called to make sure my last five charges were authorized by me. Those charges include $7.52 at Chipotle, a preauthorization at a gas pump in Iowa, $9.48 at the Wal-Mart in Sedalia, MO, and a $50 cash withdrawl.  I don’t know how much more scandolous one can get.

I now have a printer, though. That was exciting. Now I just get to hook it up and take one more trip to find the right paper I need.

I also had a swell birthday brunch today. The people there just happened to be some of the people I’ve had the most fun with this past year, and there’s not much that can go wrong with that. I’ll forget to mention that four of us, known as Team Awesome, stayed for a bit longer with the intentions of getting 86’ed not only from the restaurant, but the suburb we were in. I think we came close, but I had shopping to do. We’ll try harder next time.

  1. dude, we need to do some research before proceeding with the 86’ing plan. i suspect it’s a VERY fine line between getting kicked out forever and ending up incarcerated.

we all know about your relationship with the po-po, after all.

What's up?
