I just got back from having a really great friggin’ time. I haven’t laughed that hard in a LONG time.
Rick and Brooke are in town for unfortuante circumstances, due to a death in the family. :(
I had to cover a basketball game tonight, which was a complete blowout and only got to write 13 inches about it. I did get to hear the coach say “We need Patae to stroke it more”, which was amusing. Go, Patae, go. Our new fulltime sportswriter showed up today, but did I get introduced to him? Of course not. Makes me mad, but I guess there isn’t a lot I can do about it, huh?
Anyway, I got together with Rick, Brooke, and Derek after I was finished writing my article. We opted to head to the bowling alley, and then Angie and Justin joined us after their previous engagement had concluded for the evening. Normally, the “lounge” at the local bowling alley is packed full of people, it’s hard pressed to get a chair, and you feel like you’ve been thrown in a tank where you can catch lung cancer just by inhaling ever-so-slightly. Tonight, it was a different story. Our group of six made up probably 1/3 of the people in the joint. It did make for an interesting evening however! Pictures are on their way. :)

What's up?
